The opening ceremony was attended by the Vietnamese Ambassador to France, Mr. Dinh Toan Thang, representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, leaders of Central Retail Vietnam, and partners from the Monoprix system (part of the Casino Group).

The event is seen as a bridge to help Vietnamese goods, especially agricultural products and processed foods, gain deeper access to the high-end consumer segment of France and Europe.
