Cacao tree is a medium-sized tree, 4–8 m (15–26 ft) tall, shade-loving, so it is often intercropped under other trees such as in coconut, rubber,… available to increase land use efficiency.
📣 Inside the cocoa pod, there are moist white cocoa beans that need to be processed before production.
📣 Cocoa beans are used as raw materials for the food industry, especially high-end products such as Chocolate, Cocoa… so they have very high economic value.
In Vietnam🇻🇳, the first cocoa growing movement in Vietnam started before the country was unified. Since then, the fact that farmers have competed to grow cocoa trees has emerged for many times but then dropped because of the failure of the consumption system.
